4th Partner's Meeting of the Eramus+ Project DigiArcheoSpace held in Zagreb30th March 2026
On 26 March 2026, the fourth transnational partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project Modern tools for documenting and presenting the cultural heritage in archaeology (DigiArcheoSpace) took place at the library of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb. The DigiArcheoSpace project focuses on developing modern approaches for documenting and presenting cultural heritage in archaeology, with a special emphasis on the use of digital tools and technologies in education and research. The project is structured around five work packages covering the development of educational materials, film production, dissemination of results, training programs, and the final conference.

11th ICARUS Croatia Days: Call for Papers4th February 2026
From 18 to 20 March 2026, the 11th ICARUS Days in Croatia, entitled “Discovering Archives: From Research to Storytelling”, will take place in Stubičke Toplice. The conference traditionally brings together an international professional and research community around topics such as the processing, digitisation, and preservation of written heritage, the development of cultural networks, and contemporary archival and heritage projects, with a particular focus on the ways in which archival materials are transformed into research insights and narratives accessible to the public (from “sources” to “storytelling,” without losing methodological responsibility).

Today, the DARIAH Day national meeting was held at the Library of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research, organized by the DARIAH-HR Coordination Office.
After eight presentations by DARIAH-HR partners and supporters on activities related to strengthening digital infrastructures in 2025, DARIAH-HR coordinator Koraljka Kuzman Šlogar and assistants Anamarija Žugić Borić and Ivana Štokov presented the projects and initiatives that DARIAH-HR led or participated in during 2025.

From 22 to 24 October 2025, the 5th DARIAH-HR Conference “Digital Humanities & Heritage” will be held in Osijek, organised by the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research / DARIAH-HR, the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, and the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences Osijek. Under the theme Rethinking Heritage across STEM, Humanities, and Arts, the conference seeks to foster dialogue between diverse disciplines and create space for critical reflection on the role of digital technologies in cultural heritage, research practices, and artistic creation.
