Tezaurus.hr is a platform designed as a database for all thesauri used across various domains (within digital humanities and beyond). This multilingual platform is intended for further expansion and development in order to meet the needs for controlled vocabularies within different communities.The main idea of the Tezaurus.hr platform is to bring together and store all controlled vocabularies in one place, while also enabling their use across different collections and institutions. On the other hand, any controlled vocabulary developed within the platform can be used as a “stand-alone tool” that can assist anyone seeking appropriate terminology for the purpose of indexing materials.
The platform enables the integration of different metadata standards and vocabularies from various well-known sources, such as the Getty Thesaurus, Geospatial Thesaurus, etc.
