On Thursday, February 20, 2025, a lecture by Dr. Koraljka Golub (Linnaeus University, Sweden) was held at the library of the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research, titled:

ENHANCING ACCESS TO LGBTQ+ FICTION: SUBJECT ACCESS AND SEARCH INTERFACES IN THE QUEERLIT PROJECT

Koraljka Golub, professor at Linnaeus University and national coordinator of DARIAH Sweden, presented the QueerLit project, which focuses on improving access to LGBTQ+ fiction through innovative approaches to subject indexing and search interface design. The lecture addressed the challenges of indexing and retrieving materials related to LGBTQ+ topics in library information systems, including the development of inclusive metadata and user-centered interfaces.

The lecture was organized as part of the project Traditional Culture in the Digital Environment: Development of a Reference Center for Intangible Culture (TKuDOR) and DARIAH-HR activities.

The TKuDOR project is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
