SEMINAR GOALS

Today digitalization is present in all scientific disciplines, research, and everyday work. Digitalization has enabled the development of new platforms and tools based on advanced computer services that make our work simpler, faster, but also opens up the ability to better connect individuals, swift information, data and tools exchange, among all stakeholders and enable joint action globally. Europe has recognized that process and consolidated all its parts under one name - the European open space.

The aim of this seminar is to show where Europe is heading towards the development of open science, the possibilities of mutual cooperation and how advanced computer services and tools can contribute to the development of humanities and social sciences. Four European projects in the field of humanities and social sciences will be presented at the workshop, through which they intend to achieve closer cooperation and thus strengthen the humanities and social sciences in the Republic of Croatia.
