11th ICARUS Croatia Days: Call for Papers

From 18 to 20 March 2026, the 11th ICARUS Days in Croatia, entitled “Discovering Archives: From Research to Storytelling”, will take place in Stubičke Toplice. The conference traditionally brings together an international professional and research community around topics such as the processing, digitisation, and preservation of written heritage, the development of cultural networks, and contemporary archival and heritage projects, with a particular focus on the ways in which archival materials are transformed into research insights and narratives accessible to the public (from “sources” to “storytelling,” without losing methodological responsibility).

This year, DARIAH-HR is once again a co-organiser of the conference together with ICARUS Croatia, with additional collaboration taking place through the TKuDOR project (Traditional Culture in a Digital Environment: Development of a Reference Centre for Intangible Culture), funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 – European Union: NextGenerationEU.
