Martina Kramarić is a Senior Research Associate employed at the Department of the History of the Croatian Language at the Institute for the Croatian Language. She participates in numerous domestic and international research projects and is also actively involved in several COST Actions.

Her research is primarily centred on Croatian Glagolitic translations from Old Czech and the identification of Czech linguistic influences on the Croatian language throughout history. She is the principal investigator of the project E-Dictionary Database of Medieval Bohemisms.

She is the author and co-author of three monographs and numerous scholarly articles. She has been awarded several international scholarships for professional development at foreign institutions, including Manuscriptorium at the Czech National Library and the Department of Digital Humanities at the University of Graz, among others. She has also participated in various international training programmes and summer schools.

Her main research interests include the history of the language, historical lexicography and lexicology, e-lexicography, Glagolitic script and Croatian Glagolitic literature, the Czech language, and the digitization of manuscript materials.
