DARIAH South-East European Hub (SEE Hub)
The DARIAH South-East European Hub (SEE Hub) was officially launched on 22 October 2025 at the Vučedol Culture Museum in Osijek, as part of the Digital Humanities and Heritage conference organised by DARIAH-HR. The SEE Hub is the first officially established DARIAH regional hub and represents an important step forward in strengthening collaboration in the field of digital humanities in South-Eastern Europe. It brings together nine institutions from six countries, with co-leadership provided by Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb. The aim of the Hub is to develop a regional digital humanities network, strengthen knowledge exchange and collaboration among researchers, and increase the visibility of digital methods and tools in the region. It also seeks to expand the DARIAH network into non-member countries and encourage joint research initiatives.
