DARIAH Assistant
DARIAH Assistant is a mobile application for fast, systematic, and ethically grounded recording of field data in the humanities and cultural heritage (photos, audio, video, notes). It automates basic metadata (author, time, location, etc.), provides structured fields and templates, and supports export in machine-readable formats as well as submission to repositories. In its pilot phase, it is connected to the Indigo platform, with planned integration with DABAR and AAI authentication. It is designed for researchers, GLAM institutions, and field-methods teaching, aiming to bridge the gap between collecting material “in the field” and its sustainable archival storage and reuse.
