Vesna Lovrić Plantić - MUO

Dr. Vesna Lovrić Plantić, an art historian and museum advisor, works at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb as the Head of the Clock Collection and the Head of the Collections Department. She is the author of numerous study exhibitions and designed the study display of the clock collection in the Museum's permanent exhibition (1995).
She has published several books, including Džepni sat – The Watch (1998), Budilica – The Alarm Clock (2001), Udomljeno vrijeme (2008), and Stoljeće ručnog sata – A Century of the Wristwatch (2014). She has also authored numerous scholarly and professional articles.
Dr. Lovrić Plantić coordinated major projects such as The Baroque in Central Europe (1991–1993), Biedermeier in Croatia (1997), and Historicism in Croatia (2000). She has contributed as an author to many exhibitions and catalogues of the Museum of Arts and Crafts.
She has led several EU projects on behalf of the Museum as a project partner, including Partage Plus (2012–2014), AthenaPlus (2013–2015), Art Nouveau (2017–2019), Europeana Archaeology (2019–2020), ArtNouveau2 (2020–2022), Crafted (2021–2023), and CultHeRit (2024–2026).
